You probably heard the claims on the Internet that you can have your own website with no computer experience, without ever using a computer. I mean.... come on ...really?

Well.... that's absolutely not true. You will have to know at least the following:

»» You need to know how to manipulate files and folders. Can you copy files, rename, delete and move them? You will have to know where you downloaded files from the Internet. 

»» You need to be able to install and uninstall software.

»» How to use the Internet. How to find things on the Internet.

And that is just a short list. The good news is, you don't need to know any Html code in order to create your first website.

Is It Easy To Learn Kompozer?

To make your own site and to really understand what are you doing and what goes where into your website, you will have to understand the basics first. In my opinion this is where most people fail, because they fail to learn the basics. With " Create Your First Html Website With Free Programs In One Week " video course you simply will not be one of them. This is exactly the reason I created this tutorial in the first place. There weren't any courses that covered the basics. 

From my experience with teaching beginners, an Html editor is the easiest to learn, while giving us total control over the visual appearance of our site. Changing to another method after learning an Html web editor is also easier. You gain a broad base of knowledge (and skills) when using a web editor that continues to be relevant even when using a WordPress or any other system and not the other way around.

Even if you choose wordPress or other CMS to make your website, you will need Kompozer to format your text, if you want your posts to look professional.
